Abingdon, MD (AP) – When Alyssa Lightner got pregnant with her fourth child, she said she wanted to spend as little time in the hospital as possible.

Her baby apparently had the same idea.

The 31-year-old realized the delivery couldn’t wait as she was being driven to a hospital, so her doula pulled over and called 911 as she began to push.

The Baltimore Sun reports that just two minutes after a 911 dispatcher answered their call Wednesday night, baby Asher was born on the passenger seat, weighing 5 pounds and 9 ounces.

Lightner said she doesn’t know if she’ll have another child, but if she does, it’ll be a home birth.
