Valdese, NC – Valdese Family Friday Nights Summer Concert series will continue the 2021 season with the Super 60’s this Friday, July 16, beginning at 7:00pm on Temple Field, located behind the Old Rock School.

Critics agree that for musicianship and authenticity it doesn’t get any better than The Super 60’s. Comprised of professional musicians who have a deep respect for music from the musically-rich decade of the 1960s, they are sure to create an event that will transport you back in time to the days when life was simply.

“We are excited to welcome the Super 60’s to Valdese for the first time,” states Morrissa Angi Community Affairs & Tourism Director for the Town of Valdese. “We have heard rave reviews about this group and we are looking forward to a great night of 60’s,” Angi continued.

Concert attendees are encouraged to visit local restaurants in Downtown Valdese and check out the retail shops while they are visiting. Concessions will be available and provided by the Rock School Arts Foundation and a 50/50 raffle will be offered. The Rock School Arts Foundation is a Valdese non-profit who are well known for the outstanding art exhibitions they coordinate at the Old Rock School each year.
