Hickory – The 44th Annual Angels of the Arts’ Evening for the Arts, benefiting Hickory Museum of Art’s educational programs and offerings, will take place on Saturday, November 17, from 6pm to 9pm at 74 South at Moretz Mills, 74 8th St. SE in Hickory, NC. Guests will enjoy live music, heavy hors d’oeuvres, two beverage tickets, and participation in both live and silent auctions.
This year’s featured entertainment for the evening features The Starlighters, a 15 piece Jazz Band from Lenoir, NC. The guild is pleased to announce this year’s guest speaker will be Dana Kaminske with the City of Hickory. Dana’s talk focuses on the exciting impact the arts have made to our community.
Reservations to attend Evening for the Arts are $50 per person for HMA Members and $65 for non-members. Reservations should be placed by Wednesday, November 7 via www.HickoryArt.org or by contacting Kelly Smith with Hickory Museum of Art at 828-327-8576. This year’s event will again include a raffle drawing. The winner will have a choice of one of the following trip options: Royal Caribbean Cruise for Two (Four or Five Nights), Choose Your Stay Fairmont Hotel (US) for Two (Three Nights) including airfare, or Lake Tahoe Ski Getaway for Two (Three Nights) including airfare and accommodations. Raffle tickets are $30 each or four for $100, and may be purchased on the website, the museum office, or from any HMA Guild member.
