Hickory – Join the eighth TEDxHickory on November 23, from 9am – 4pm at the Belk Auditorium on the Lenoir Rhyne University campus! This coming year’s event, under the theme “Connect,” as expressed in the quotation from Fyodor Dostoevski, “A disturbance in one place is felt at the other end of the world,” and exemplified in iconic images from philosophies, religions, literature, and popular culture from around the world: Celtic Knots, Hindu Mandalas, the Ripple Effect, the Web of Life, 6 Degrees of Connection, and Buddhism’s Eternal Knot.

What is TEDxHickory?

This event is to bring people together in and around the Catawba Valley that are doing things to make a difference, and/or are makers of things special to this region. These people will share their ideas to inspire others in the Catawba Valley region.
