Newton, NC – The Corner Table of Newton announces it’s yearly fund-raiser Standup To Hunger event scheduled for Tuesday, April 26, 7:30pm at the Novel Taproom in Newton.
Standup to Hunger is a comedy show fundraiser to benefit the Backpack Program, a program of The Corner Table. Standup to Hunger promises you a night of fun, and the chance to laugh your “backpack” off all while raising vital funding for local children in our community! All attendees will have the opportunity to meet-and-greet with the comedians and enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres prior to the show!
Limited tickets available. The show is for ages 21+!

Proceeds from this event will directly benefit the mission of the Backpack Program. All funds received will be used to continue eliminating hunger as a barrier to a good education for local school children by providing bags full of food each and every weekend of the school year.
