Hickory – Teens are invited to explore the world of science and solar energy by visiting the Ridgeview Library on Monday, June 18, beginning at 2 pm to create a pizza box oven. The ovens are made with pizza boxes and other household items in order to harness the power of the sun to make yummy treats. After building the ovens, teens can try out their creations by attempting to make ooey gooey s’mores. All supplies will be provided.

Ridgeview Library is located at 706 1st Street SW, at the corner of 1st Street and 7th Avenue SW, beside the Ridgeview Recreation Center. All library programs are free and open to the public.
