fcruise-in_2Bethlehem, NC – Shiloh Lutheran Church NALC is participating in the Bethlehem Day events with a Car & Truck Cruise-In in Shiloh Lutheran Church parking lot from 12:00 until 4pm, this Saturday, September 17 — no charge. Come join us.

The Bethlehem Community Development Association’s 7th Annual Bethlehem Day Festival is Saturday, 10am to 4pm and features FUN FOR EVERYONE!

Homemade baked goods (persimmon pudding, cakes, pies, etc.) will be available for sell at Shiloh Parish Hall, along with hot dogs (with all the trimmings) and drinks, at a cost families can afford. Bethlehem Day includes live music, art and crafts, many booth vendors and events for all ages. Brine the entire family, there’s something for every age.

All proceeds go to Hospice of Alexander County.

Members of Shiloh are collecting items for the flood victims, to be delivered in September, as part of Christ United Lutheran Church’s efforts. Anything useable will be appreciated. Call Shiloh for more information on drop-off times, etc., 828-495-7462, or call any Shiloh member.

Voice of the Martyrs, a free conference, will be held on Saturday, September 17, at Pitts Baptist Church, Concord, 9 until 4, 140 Pitts School Road, NW, Concord, N.C.  Stories of persecuted Christians will be shared by speakers from Philippines, Iran and China. Carolinas Lutheran Women will hold their annual meeting on Saturday, September 17, at Faith ELCA Church, 205 South Main Faith Street, Faith, N. C. Registration is $8, which includes lunch. More information is available by calling 828-495-7462. All women are invited to attend.

Each Sunday, Shiloh has morning praise at 9:15, Sunday School for all ages at 9:30 and worship at 10:30am. Holy Communion is celebrated the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month and on special festivals.
