Newton, NC – NC Cooperative offers a series of Local Food Cooking Classes. Learn fun and interesting ways to prepare fresh, local produce in this cooking class series. We help local farmers by sourcing whatever they have in abundance for our $10 produce bags & then create recipes to help you learn how to prepare it. Cost is $10/class.
We will alternate between the Extension office at Agriculture Resources Center, 1175 S Brady Ave., Newton and The Hickory Soup Kitchen,110 2nd St Pl SE, Hickory for class locations.
