New to Streaming:

Minari (2020) The critically acclaimed tale of a Korean family attempting to build a life for themselves in the rural south during the mid 80s is now available to stream. Beautifully made and highly recommended.

Zappa (2020) Filmmaker/Actor Alex Winter (Bill and Ted) was given unprecedented access to the archives of the legendary musician, Frank Zappa. The result is this intriguing documentary portrait.

The Pond (2021) In this thriller, an anthropology professor, on the brink of an important discovery, is plagued by hallucinations which reveal that someone or something is still interested in his work. Marco Canadea stars. 

Donna (2020) An abused woman leaves her husband only to face the difficulties of navigating the legal system in this drama from director Janet Martino.

She’s the Man (2006) Unable to get on the soccer team, Viola (Amanda Byrnes), dresses up as her twin brother in order to secure a place on the team and falls for her teammate (Channing Tatum) in this comedy. Extras on the 15th anniversary edition include two commentary tracks, featurettes, deleted scenes, music video and trailer.

Film Movement:

Mafia Inc. (2019) A young mobster find his family in danger after antagonizing his mob bosses. Daniel Grou directs this crime thriller. No Extras.

Yalda (2019) In this film based on an Iranian reality show, a young woman convicted of her husband’s murder faces the wrath of her stepdaughter on live television while viewers simultaneously vote on the perpetrator’s outcome. Extras include a bonus short film.

Kino:

My Favorite Blonde (1942) Bob Hope is a vaudeville performer en route to Hollywood who manages to get caught up in a web of ever escalating trouble in this hit comedy. Madeleine Carroll also stars. Extras include a commentary.

Nothing but the Truth (1941) A woman (Paulette Goddard) schemes with an employee of her uncle (Bob Hope) in an attempt to double her financial investment in the family firm in this comedy. Extras include a commentary.

Caught in the Draft (1941) Bob Hope is a movie actor attempting to dodge the draft who manages to do exactly the opposite in this war time farce. Dorothy Lamour also stars. Extras include audio commentary.

Warner Brothers:

Rick and Morty: The Complete Seasons 1-4 (2013-2020) All four seasons of the celebrated animated series have been issued in a box set with extras.
