presentations of the 2nd Annual Start at Home: North Carolina Virtual Family History Fair. Presented by the North Carolina Government and Heritage Library and the State Archives of North Carolina, this year’s presentations will be focusing on local collections and resources for local and family history research. Local records, libraries and archives are a treasure trove of excellent information to Start @ Home for research.

Sessions include Local Collections and Records for Family and Local History at 10:00 am, Newspapers and Finding Treasures at 11:00 am,  DigitalNC for Family and Local History Research at 12:00 pm and Genealogy of a House at 1:00 pm. Sign up for one session, all or any combination you like!

The sessions are free and open to the public, but space is limited so registration is required. Patrons may sign up for an appointment by calling 304-0500 ext. 7235. Patrick Beaver Memorial Library is located at 375 3rd Street NE on the SALT Block.
