Morganton, NC – Foothills Conservancy and Curbside Composting are partnering with C2Life to provide healthy meals to the community during Covid-19.

There are three ways you can be a part of this initiative:

Donate the listed canned foods, which will be used to produce and package meals for distribution to local nonprofits. The deadline to donate canned items is June 30.

Collards – low/no sodium
Potatoes (diced) – low/no sodium
Whole Kernel Corn – low/no sodium
Black Beans – low/no sodium
Pinto Beans – low/no sodium
Peaches (diced) – lite syrup

Bring your donation to the Foothills Conservancy office located at 204 Avery Avenue in Morganton between Food Matters Market and the Burke County Administrative building.

Place donations in the collection bins on the loading dock of the back building, not the main office.

If you are a Curbside Composting customer, your food donation can be collected during regular pickups.
