Hickory – October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
Catawba Valley Medical Center’s Mobile Unit will visit the West Hickory Senior Center on Monday, October 21st.
This is a Medicare-covered benefit you can have yearly, however, it must have been one year since your last mammogram for Medicare to pay for this service.
Remember, early detection is our best defense in the second leading cause of cancer deaths among women.
