Hickory – It’s another milestone for the area’s longest lasting jazz show. Jazz Trackin’; heard locally on WNNC AM & FM (1230 AM & 101.3 FM), will celebrate 41 years on the air on Sunday, January 26 from 9 pm-Midnight. Heard every Sunday night from 9 till midnight, Jazz Trackin’ is the longest running weekly jazz show in North Carolina and is thought to be one of the longest running in the nation. Mike Sherrill is the originator and is still the host for the weekly show that features a variety of styles of jazz. Sherrill is a well know local drummer and leads the regionally popular GMC Jazz Trio.

The show will this year feature specially selected and requested jazz from the 41 year period. Don’t miss this night of some of the best jazz from the past 41 years.
