On Saturday, October 23rd, the Long View Lions Club has scheduled a broom, Camp Dogwood Raffle Ticket sales and Membership Recruitment Campaign under their tent at 204 US Highway 321 across from McDonald’s and Dunkin Donuts from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Lions will be selling dust pans, and an assortment of brooms including whisk, children, camping, hearth, angle head, soft synthetic bristle, warehouse/patio, and push brooms in a variety of price ranges. Proceeds from the Lions Club Broom sale will benefit the blind/visually impaired and support other Lions Club charities.

In addition to selling brooms, the Long View Lions Club will be selling Camp Dogwood Raffle Tickets for $1.00 per ticket or a book of 12 tickets for $10.00. `Proceeds from Camp Dogwood Raffle Tickets supports a recreation facility for the blind/visually impaired, located at Sherrills Ford on Lake Norman, owned and operated by the NC Lions. You have five chances to one win one of the following prizes Grand Prize Winner $15,000 Cash; 2nd Prize: $1,000 Cash; 3rd Prize: $500 Cash; 4th Prize: 2-Day Beach Getaway; or 5th Prize: 2-Day Mountain Getaway. You do not have to be present to win. Also, you may win one of two $200 Gift Certificates.
