Jack & The Spaceship Beanstalk At Local Libraries, 7/11 & 7/25

Newton, NC – An annual highlight of Catawba County Library’s Summer Learning program is a live performance of children’s theater from the local Green Bean Players, the touring company of the Green Room Community Theatre.

This year, to coincide with the Summer Learning theme – A Universe of Stories – the troupe has given Jack & the Beanstalk an outer-space adventure. Each show features a shiny space rocket and an unforgettable journey to the moon. Audiences should expect to find dancing robots, shooting stars, giant aliens, and treasure beyond their wildest dreams. There are also catchy songs, cool puppetry, and a wealth of memorable characters.

Performances take place at the following locations:

Thursday, July 11 at 1 pm – Maiden Branch Library
Thursday, July 11 at 4 pm – St. Stephens Branch Library
Thursday, July 25 at 1 pm – Southwest Branch Library
Thursday, July 25 at 5:30 pm – Claremont Branch Library
