Hickory – Peter and the Starcatcher, Hickory Community Theatre’s fourth production of its 68th season, returns to the mainstage for its second weekend of performances this Thursday, December 8th, at 7:30pm.

In this re-imagination of the magical stories of Peter Pan and Neverland, three orphan boys and Starcatcher-in-training Molly face treasure-hungry pirates, fantastical mermaids, and more as they race to protect a trunk full of magical and mystical “Starstuff.” This fantastically theatrical prequel to the classic tale of Peter Pan and Captain Hook invites a new look into adventure, laughter, and love.

Remaining show dates are Thursdays (Dec 8, 15) at 7:30pm, Fridays and Saturdays (Dec 9, 10, 16, 17) at 8:00pm, and Sundays (Nov 11, 18) at 2:30pm.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors (only $16 on Thursdays for both adults and seniors), and $10 for youth and students. Tickets may be purchased online at hickorytheatre.showare.com or at the Theatre box office, which is open 12-5 Wednesday through Saturday, in person or by phoning 828-328-2283.

The Hickory Community Theatre is a Funded Affiliate of the United Arts Council of Catawba County. Peter and the Starcatcher is produced by Alex Lee, Inc., and is the fourth show in the Theatre’s 68th season, sponsored by Paramount Automotive and A Cleaner World.
