Newton, NC – On Friday, April 21, 2017, the Newton-Conover Auditorium is proud to host Grace Wepner-Ludtke and John Wepner for a Bach’s Lunch ‘N’ Listen performance.
Grace, Newton-grown professional harpist and co-founder of the North Carolina Harp Ensemble, has performed throughout North America and Europe, including performances at Carnegie Hall in New York City, St. George’s Church in London and Liben Castle in Prague.
As a chamber and orchestral musician, Grace has performed professionally with the North Carolina Opera, Greensboro Opera, Winston-Salem Symphony and Bel Canto Company. She has also performed with various musical ensembles at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), The University of North Carolina School of the Arts, High Point University and Appalachian State University. Grace has been involved in several world-premieres and professional recordings. She will be accompanied and preceded by her brother, local pianist, John Wepner.
Bach’s Lunch ‘n’ Listen is a lunchtime concert series that takes place on the third Friday of every month in the McCreary Modern Gallery of Newton-Conover Auditorium from 12-1:30 p.m.
The cost is $15, which includes a lunch with several diet options, including vegetarian. (Please contact the office at 828-464-8100 if you have special dietary needs).

Bach’s Lunch ‘n’ Listen began in October of 2014 and has maintained great popularity, with tickets often selling out. It’s important to reserve in advance to guarantee your spot. Seating is limited.
