Hickory – Artistic Director Pamela Livingstone has just announced the cast for the revival production of the original musical, “Junk” by Molly Bass with music and lyrics by Molly Bass and Jeff Hartman.
Subtitled “a play about a yard sale and a mermaid,” the show tells the story of Karissa, a young woman looking to move on with her life after the demise of her long-term relationship with Dwight, who fell in love with his hair stylist.
The multi-talented cast includes Allison Andrews, Connie Bools, Bill Boyd, Kelly Dowless, Renetta E. Hamrick, Jairo Pereira and Jeremy Whitener.
The play opens October 14th in the Jeffers Theatre. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays (Oct 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 & 29) at 8pm, Thursdays (Oct 20 & 27) at 7:30pm and Sundays (Oct 23 & 30) at 2:30pm.
Tickets for Friday through Sunday performances are $20, with a $2 discount for seniors and half price for students and for youth 18 and under. Thursday night performances all adults are $14 and youth and students are $10.
