holiday-bluesHickory – Do you or someone you know experience decreased levels of energy in winter?  What about fatigue or difficulty concentrating?  Do you sleep more or find yourself wanting to be alone?

Maybe it is the “holiday blues.”  Seasonal Affective Disorder can show its’ face in many forms.  Join Lachelle Freeman of Partners Behavioral Health at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library on January 8th at 6:30 pm for an evening chat to discuss signs, voice your concerns and explore options to feel better.  Not everyone has a formal diagnosis, but can be seasonally affected.  We will discuss ways to boost your mood and “Fight the Winter Blues.”

Lachelle Freeman has over 21 years of experience in the mental health field, including her current position with Partners Behavioral Health Management.  During that time she has worked as a provider delivering mental health to individuals and families, assisted with research, and developed and managed Partners’ Appeal United.  In her current position, Lachelle is charged with collaborating with community stakeholders to expand Systems of Care (SOC) to 4 counties in West and Central North Carolina.  Lachelle holds a Bachelor of Arts from Lincoln University and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Geneva College.
