Hickory – Auditions for the Hickory Community Theatre’s 2016 holiday season production, “Peter and the Starcatcher” are being held on Monday and Tuesday Monday and Tuesday, October 17 & 18 at 7:00pm. This Tony Award-winning musical play is based on the popular novels that upend the century-old story of how a miserable orphan boy becomes the legendary Peter Pan.

Roles are available for eleven men and one woman, ages 18-70. The men play multiple parts. This is a play with music, so those auditioning should prepare a song; bring sheet music if possible but no recorded accompaniment. There may be dance auditions, so dress in clothes that are easy to move around in. Scripts are available to check out at the Theatre office, open 11am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, a $10 refundable deposit is required.
