Hickory – The Hickory Community Theatre is about to finish the search for a new Artistic Director. The final prospective candidate, Marisa Post, will be in Hickory the weekend of March 21 & 22 and there are three public events scheduled to introduce her to Hickory.

At 5:30pm on Sunday, following the “Talk Back” there will be a public meet and greet reception in the theatre lobby. The Guild at HCT is providing light hors d’oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages. Wine and beer will be available for purchase.
“Public input on our selection is very important to us,” said Thelma Eley, a member of the HCT Board of Directors and part of the selection committee. “The Artistic Director is the artistic leader of our organization and will be engaging the community to fulfill our mission.”
