Hickory – Every Friday from June 15th until August 24th, Dot the Greenway ambassador will be out in the community connecting people to some of the awesome places and events all over Catawba County within walking distance along the bus lines or paratransit services. Greenway wants to guide everyone to the great local offerings accessible from Greenway Public Transportation services.

In this fun way to give back to ridership, “Find Me Fridays” are virtual scavenger hunts; The rules are simple; Find “Dot” around town or on the bus by following the clues posted on Greenway Public Transportation’s Facebook page, and Twitter account (@WPRTA). The first person to find “Dot” will win a prize that highlights the location “Dot” is found. All locations will be fully accessible by the fixed route bus lines.

“Find Me Fridays” will kick off June 15th 2018. Be sure to follow Greenway Public Transportation on Facebook or @WPRTA on Twitter.

These events are focused on giving back to the most vital part of public transportation, the ridership.
