Newton, NC – The Green Room Community Theatre is thrilled to present the annual production of Carolina Spooktales. On Saturday,October 30, 2021 at 3pm, there will be a ONE-TIME performance of these spooky tales. The show is performed by The Green Bean Players. The performance will be in the McCreary Theatre at the Old Post Office Playhouse in historic downtown Newton, NC.
Spooky tales from across the Carolinas will come to life on stage as a group of friends recount several haunting stories around a campfire. Discover some of our state’s best legends and revisit some of your favorites, including The Ring, Brown Mountain Lights, Swamp Girl, and The Pirate Ghost of Folly Island. There will be two new tales in this production which are Where Are You My Son and The Hanging Ghost at Helen’s Bridge. Great for NC history!
Carolina Spooktales is produced by Maiden Community Chiropractic, Duke Energy, and Lee Industries. It is directed by John David Brown, III. The Green Bean Players will be presenting their next production, Jack and The Spaceship Beanstalk, on February 19, 2022.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at www.thegreenroomtheatre.org or by calling (828) 464-6128 Wednesdays – Fridays from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $6 for children age 12 and under. All ticket prices include NC sales tax.
