Hickory – FOCUS’ Swimsuit and Summer Guide issue is set for next Thursday, May 26th. Be sure to get your copy of the biggest and most entertaining issue of the year!
In addition to eight models, men and women, wearing this year’s coolest swimwear, FOCUS’ Summer Guide will have a four-state listing of things to do and places to visit within a day’s drive of North Carolina. The Guide is a real ‘keeper’ issue and has information about events through the fall of this year.
The Swimsuit and Summer Guide is presented by Best of Beers, your local distributer of Anheuser Busch and Craft Beer.
The FOCUS models’ photos have been taken and they have won free swimwear & lots of goodies from our sponsors, Kelly & Company Hair Salon, The Olde Hickory Taproom and The Hickory Community Theatre.
Kelly & Co. Hair Salon is providing a free cut and style to each model.
The Olde Hickory Taproom has given each winner a gift certificate. The Taproom is located in downtown Hickory on Union Square and features 20 taps, hundreds of wines and great food, and is open every day till 1:30 am.
Hickory Community Theatre has given each winner free tickets to be used at any of their productions. Hickory Community Theatre’s production of The Mel Brooks Musical Young Frankenstein has just four more performances, beginning this Thursday at 7:30pm, with all tickets on Thursdays only $14. Shows are Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 2:30pm. Those tickets are $20 but some discounts are available. For pricing call the box office or visit their website. The hilarious musical, based on Brooks’ movie, continues through Sunday, May 22. Rated PG-13 for sexual innuendo & language. For tickets go to www.hickorytheatre.org or call 828.328.2283.
Well known Hickory area professional photographers & sponsors Spencer Huffman of Pixelated Perceptions and Rose Mary Cheek have photographed our models for the Swimsuit/Summer Guide.
