Hickory – Have you ever found yourself frustrated by a seemingly simple car repair or confused by a service technician’s invoice?  Open the Hood is a new automotive class taught by CVCC automotive instructors James Eddie Roane and Charles Farnsworth on Saturday, June 24th at 10:00 am at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library.  The goal of this class is to empower participants by giving them the confidence to perform their own light automotive maintenance and the language they need to communicate and understand technical jargon when a professional is needed.  Eddie Roane and Chuck Farnsworth will share knowledge gained through years of experience in the automotive industry, creating an informed consumer who has the know-how to ensure that their vehicle is properly maintained.

The class is free and no registration is required.  For more information, please call 828-304-0500 ext. 7235.  Patrick Beaver Memorial Library is located at 375 3rd Street NE on the SALT Block.
