Hickory – Are you interested in pursuing an affordable college education, a GED or a certification for work? Would you like to earn an associate’s degree or learn more about a hobby? Are you wondering how to pay for college?

CollegeOn Wednesday, June 14, beginning at 2:00 pm the Ridgeview Branch of the Hickory Public Libraries will host Exploring College Options. Representatives from Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC) and NC Works will be available to answer questions and discuss options for adult education after high school.

Whether you are a recent high school graduate or someone wishing for a better job, you can explore your options for further education without incurring a mountain of debt.

Representatives will be available between the hours of 2-4 pm to answer questions. Light refreshments will be provided.

This program is free and open to the public. Middle school and high school students and parents are encouraged to attend, and anyone considering college, a GED or a career change in the future is also invited.

Ridgeview Library is located at 706 1st Street SW, at the corner of 7th Avenue SW and 1st Street SW.
