Hickory – On Thursday, September 15, the Downtown Hickory Art Crawl brings artists, art demonstrations and music to Downtown Hickory. More than 60 artists will be displaying their creations in a four easy walkable city blocks. There will be pottery, paintings, woodworking, photography and much, much more. Please remember the art work is for sale!

The Kick-Off Party begins at 5:00 pm at Full Circle Arts, located at 42B Third Street NW. The works of Full Circle Arts members are highlighted. Full Circle Arts will be celebrating two shows, “Salon de Refuse” & “Clay+ Wood”. Maps of the Art Crawl route and the participants will be available. Make sure to pick one up so you do not miss out on any of the artists.

The Art Crawl ends at 8:00 pm.

NAILED IT DIY, 107 Government Ave SW, 828-679-1400, offering a fresh, new way to approach Do-It-Yourself! will be showcasing works by Gina Bumgarner.

BARLEY MARKETt, 109 Government Ave SW, 828-838-1035, one-stop-shop for exceptional craft beer and wine will feature polymer clay and cement works by artist Mechelle Kanipe of Daisy Blue Madness.

GIRL SCOUTS, 208 Union Square NW Suite 101, 800-672-2148, preeminent leadership development organization for girls will showcase jewelry and gifts featuring sea glass by artist Angelica Jeffers.

The Western Piedmont Symphony will have pop-up concerts at the CommScope Stage, Trade Alley Arts, Wine Shoppe and Barley Market. This event is sponsored by the City of Hickory.
