Newton, NC – Join the girls of the Dixie Swim Club at The Green Room Community Theatre for lots of fun starting June 3, 2016 in the Black Box Theatre at the Old Post Office Playhouse in Newton.
Five Southern women, whose friendships began on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. Free from husbands, kids, and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage on North Carolina’s Outer Banks to catch up, laugh, and meddle in each other’s lives. Spanning a period of 33 years, this is a hilarious and touching comedy about friendships that last forever.
Dixie Swim Club is produced by Interstate Foam and Supply and is written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten. This production is directed by Jeanne Laws.
