Valdese, NC – Valdese Family Friday Nights Summer Concert series will feature Gal Friday Band this Friday, August 4, beginning at 7:00pm, located in the Town Parking area.
Gal Friday is a country trio of sisters. Lauren Wilson, Ashley Min and Melissa York provide the vocals for the band, singing in a three-part harmony. Min also plays the keyboard. They are joined by Dan Hood, electric guitar and mandolin, Andy Burger, acoustic guitar and banjo, Stacey Leazer, bass, and Ryan York, percussionist.
Wilson, Min and York were raised with a love of music, and have been performing live for over nine years. Hailing from Matthews, North Carolina, the sisters write original songs that are derived partially from their own life experiences. They sing of love, hope and rebellion, and deliver their soulful songs with passion.
