Conover, NC – The Greater Hickory Jaycees will continue their summer concert series, Conover Alive, this Friday night at Conover City Park. This Friday will be “Family Night” and have several additional activities for children, in addition to the music, food and beer.
The Catawba Science Center will have a booth with several exhibits and demonstrations, St. Stephen’s Fire Department will be there with their Smoke House (fire safety demonstrations) and there will be face painting and balloon fun as well. As always, the Splash Pad has extended hours until 9p.m.
The crowd can enjoy great beach music from the Night Move Band from 7-10:30p.m. Admission to the concert is free; food and beer are available for purchase. The city park is pet friendly, you are asked to obey City of Conover leash laws.

June 23rd – The Big FanDamily Band; June 30th – 20/20; July 7th – Chad Triplett & Two Lane Blacktop (Military Appreciation Night); July 14th – TNT; July 21st – Bad Romeo; July 28th – Tony Bailey Band.
