Claremont, NC – The Children’s Advocacy & Protection Center is hosting our annual Denim & Diamonds Fundraiser at the Broken Arrow Farm on Saturday, April 28th! Broken Arrow Farm is the place for great memories and beautiful sunsets! Situated on a knoll with a panoramic view of the countryside, this 185 acre agritourism farm, where family fun, farm life, agriculture and tourism intersect, is located just outside the city limits of Claremont, NC. This is a fun event filled with entertainment, a huge raffle of wonderful items, and great food!

Rebecca Hart’s Band will provide music for the evening. Her band has a large following in the area, and the CAPC is excited to have her this year.

We have a huge selection of raffle items – this is always a highlight of the evening. There are several pieces of beautiful furniture, some wonderful lamps, nice art pieces, yummy restaurant gift certificates, classy jewelry, amazing clothing, and stylish rugs. We also have items to pamper like a weekend getaway, spa gift certificates, and hair salon gift certificates and products. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event.

Lastly, there will be lots of food and drinks! Yes, there will be a WHOLE HOG for the picking! In addition, the CAPC Board Members will serve barbeque chicken, great sides, and homemade desserts.

The Children’s Advocacy and Protection Center of Catawba County is a non-profit organization that offers care to child victims of sexual and/or severe physical abuse by providing forensic interviews, medical examinations, mental health therapy, victim advocate services, prevention education through Darkness to Light classes, support for non-offending caregivers, and a multi-disciplinary team that includes law enforcement, social services, and prosecution in addition to the center’s expert staff.
