Hickory – The public is cordially invited to attend the 5th Annual BASH for Autism at Warehouse 18 in Hickory on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 5 – 10 pm.

Funds raised through this event are given directly to teachers of exceptional children through a grant proposal process for educational materials and resources for students with Autism.

Tickets are $20 each or 6 for $100 and include a pork bar-b-que buffet, slaw, baked beans, rolls and iced tea. Guests can participate in a silent auction, raffle drawings, corn hole and live music.

This year, the Autistic Education Foundation continues its mission to serve educators of children with autism by sponsoring professional development for teachers on the campus of Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute and on the campus of Catawba Valley Community College.

The AEF is also the presenting sponsor of the Kids Summer Blow Out Event on the grounds of the SALT block in Hickory, Saturday August 18th from 10 am – 2 pm. A fun filled family event for children of all abilities!
