Statesville, NC – Join us in Downtown Statesville on Saturday, November 3 for the 16th Annual Statesville Pumpkin Fest. From 10am to 5pm, the streets will be bustling with people and Downtown will be filled with live music, arts and crafts, great food, shopping, children’s activities, and much more.

At this fun-filled annual community event, there will be three stages hosting a variety of music and entertainment including The Kincaids, Mystery Hillbillies, Tonya Wood Music Co. and the Statesville Drumline on the Center Stage, hosted by WAME Real Country 92.9 & 550. Numerous other performances will happen throughout the day on different stages around the festival including demonstrations of dance, gymnastics, martial arts and acoustic performances on the Acoustic Stage.

Kids will be entertained all day long in the Publix Kids’ Zone, which will offer a variety of amusement park rides and inflatables! All-day wristbands or individual tickets for the Publix Kids’ Zone will be available for purchase at the festival. In addition, they can smash pumpkins, paint them, bowl with them, or compete in the pumpkin pie eating contest happening at 2:30pm at the Center Stage at the Square. Registration for the pie eating contest begins at 10am at the information tent located at the square. Registration is limited to 20 adults and 20 kids (12 & under).

For the more grown up kids, the Pumpkin Fest Classic Cornhole Tournament will take place on West Broad Street, with warm ups beginning at 11:30am and the tournament at 12:30pm. The entry fee is $50 per two-man team. It is a double elimination tournament and cash prizes are awarded to the top four teams. Pre-registration is requested for this event. Also for the adults, the Craft Beer Garden will feature craft beer from our local breweries and some of our favorite local musicians, Eli Yacinthe, Casey Perkins, and LeeD Not Follow from 11am-4:30pm.

Come join us for the Classic Car Cruise-In, presented by AP Vintage Motors as part of the 16th Annual Statesville Pumpkin Fest. Court Street will transform into a large parking lot of classic cars (1993 and older) during the 2018 Statesville Pumpkin Fest. All cars will stage on S. Meeting Street beginning at 9:30am. From 9:30am to 10:30am, cars will start moving onto Court Street until the street is full. All cars must enter from the intersection of Front Street and Meeting Street. Pumpkin Fest attracts thousands of spectators each year and we want everyone to arrive and leave safely. For more information about the Cruise-In, contact Chuck Goode at 704-929-8150.

Downtown restaurants and stores will also be open throughout the day. Admission to the festival is free, although some of the activities will charge a fee. The event will take place rain or shine.
