Hickory – The excitement for summer learning has expanded to include adults at Hickory Public Library from June 10th – August 5th.

The theme Build a Better World encourages adults to experience the joy of reading.  Reading relieves stress, strengthens the brain, and builds empathy.

ReadingLearn new things or expand your knowledge of current interests this summer for free with library materials and library programs.

Adult summer learners have the opportunity to win prizes.  Visit Patrick Beaver Memorial Library or Ridgeview Library and pick up a bingo form to complete.  All participants will receive a Reusable Lunch Bag when you turn in your completed bingo form (while supplies last) and be entered in a drawing for several Grand Prizes.  The Grand Prize drawing will take place during the week of August 7th.

Complete rules and book review forms for the Adult Summer Learning Program may be picked up at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library or Ridgeview Library beginning Saturday, June 10th.
