Hickory – Join Julie Cook-Walker, from the Alzheimer’s Association, at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 10:00 am for a presentation about caring for those with memory loss, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease during the holidays.

The holidays are a time when family and friends come together, which can be challenging for families taking care of loved ones with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia. Julie Cook-Walker will show that, with some planning and adjusted expectations, your celebrations can still be happy, memorable occasions.

The presenter, Julie Cook-Walker, is the Education Specialist for the Foothills Region of the Alzheimer’s Association Western Carolina Chapter.  She is providing a series of presentations on Alzheimer’s and other related dementia on the second Monday of each month through April at 10:00 a.m. at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library.
