Hickory – Maestro John Gordon Ross finishes his career at the Western Piedmont Symphony this Saturday, April 14, at 7:30pm at P.E. Monroe Auditorium, LRU.

Fittingly, Maestro John Gordon Ross began and will end his Symphony career at WPS with the powerful Beethoven’s 9th. Combining our award-winning orchestra with the Hickory Choral Society will bring joy to all for Maestro’s final Masterworks.

Guest Artists include WPS Orchestra, Hickory Choral Society, LR A Cappella Choir and the CVCC Chamber Ensemble,

Featured Soloists are Caroline Whisnant – Soprano, Janice Wilson – Mezzo-Soprano, Benjamin Werley – Tenor, & Adrian Smith – Baritone.

The program Includes: Overture to “Consecration of the House” Op. 124 (Beethoven); Symphony #9 in D minor, Op. 125 (Beethoven).
