Valdese, NC – Valdese Family Friday Nights Summer Concert series will feature OnceBlind this Friday, June 24, beginning at 7:00pm, located in the Town Parking area.

OnceBlind plays a mixture of rock, Motown, beach, rockabilly and Americana. They play hits from the past and future, spanning seven decades of music. They describe themselves as “a band dedicated to entertaining music lovers aged 10 to 100.”

The group is from Charlotte, NC, and  is comprised of Shannon Roschke, lead vocals, Cindy Cook,  vocals and keyboard, Bob Beck and Dave Colozzi on guitar, Noel Estabrook, bass, and Jamie Kincaid, percussionist. Roschke was a finalist on CMT’s Nasheville Star, as well as a finalist on Gimme the Mic Charlotte in 2007.  The band members all have diverse musical backgrounds ranging from Bachelors degrees in music, to decades of musical knowledge and experience.

OnceBlind will bring a toe-tapping experience to the stage on Friday night. They play a variety of audience favorites that are sure to bring enjoyment and nostalgia to music lovers of all ages.

Concessions will be available and provided by the Valdese Merchant’s Association. Myra’s cruise in will begin every Friday night at 6:00pm and downtown shops will remain open later.
