Blowing Rock, NC – The St. Mary’s of the Hills Tour of Homes Gala Fundraiser is July 11, from 5:30-8:30. This year, the gala is open to the public for a reservation cost of $75. Generously donated by Chip and Monica Perry, the venue is known as “The Car Barn” was built to house their collection of 1950-1960’s European Sports Cars.

Chip Perry, the originator of Auto Trader, will be in attendance, much to the delight of car aficionados. The Gala will have music by the Lucky Strikes, dancing, hors d’oeuvres by ASU Catering, and both live and silent auctions. Jenny Miller, auctioneer will entertain guests as she presents a beach vacation, a jumbo BBQ party at your site, a wonderful evening at a Chef’s Table with Chef Hunter at Gideon Ridge, an amazing 33 carat citrine pendant designed by Susan Wright of Blowing Rock Estate Jewelry and more.

Golf packages, art, items for home and garden will be at the silent auction. These are top drawer, carefully selected items, so plan to shop for a treasure. Winners will be announced and applauded for contributing to our local charities where funds are most needed. The Gala will be a summer highlight, to be sure.

Please note there is no parking at the Car Barn. Park at the Equestrian Center on 1500 Laurel Lane, Blowing Rock, NC 28605, for a trolley ride a few blocks away.
