Newton, NC – Roll up your sleeves and get ready to rock and roll in the first musical of our 2018-19 season – GREASE! Performances are scheduled for Sept. 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, & 22 at 7:30pm and September 10, 16, & 23 at 3pm at The Old Post Office Playhouse in Historic Downtown Newton. Mark your calendar to see this classic musical. Tickets are available to the public now. This show is being produced by Automated Machine Designs.

Since its debut in the 1970’s, Grease has remained one of the world’s most popular and enduring musicals. Featuring the hit songs “Greased Lightnin’,” “You’re The One That I Want,” and “Summer Nights,” Grease follows the journey of Danny and Sandy, alongside the Burger Palace Boys and the Pink Ladies, as they navigate high school to the unforgettable rock n’ roll soundtrack that defined generations. The Book, Music, and Lyrics for this show are by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey.

You can reserve your seats by calling the Box Office at 828-464-6128. Box Office hours are Wednesday through Friday, 10am-5:30pm. Ticket prices are $18 for Adults, $16 for Seniors (60+), $14 for Students (13+) and Students, and $8 for children age 12 and under. All ticket prices include NC sales tax. You may also purchase tickets at the door 1 hours before the show.
