TESLA-3189Hickory – The Ridgeview branch of the Hickory Public Libraries is pleased to host a free rug concert by the renowned Tesla Quartet. Music lovers of all ages, especially the very youngest, are invited to come to Ridgeview Library on Monday, October 2, at 10:00 am.

The Tesla Quartet are Ross Snyder, first violin; Michelle Lie, violin; Edwin Kaplan, viola; and Serafim Smigelskiy, cello. With a strong focus on music education, all members of the quartet are enthusiastic about sharing their love of music with young listeners and future musicians. This free rug concert is an opportunity for the very youngest music lovers to hear the quartet in an intimate setting with a chance to meet each member. Children are encouraged to ask questions, move around, listen carefully and participate fully in this musical experience. This is a wonderful opportunity for beginning musicians to meet accomplished professional musicians.

This free rug concert at Ridgeview Library is made possible by the Western Piedmont Symphony, conductor John Gordon Ross, and the Beaver Family Foundation.
