Anissa has personally educated more than 35,000 small businesses and nonprofits over the past ten years and enjoys providing keynote addresses, seminars, and webinars to audiences of all sizes.

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Anissa served as the Director for National Organizations for Constant Contact overseeing the partnership with 7000 nonprofits. Before joining Constant Contact, she was proud to be the CEO with Girls on the Run International. She has held several CEO positions with multiple chambers of commerce. Anissa is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Institute for Organization Management program and South Carolina Economic Development School at the College of Charleston.

Anissa and her husband Jerry reside in North Carolina and enjoy fly-fishing, long distance hiking and going to Carolina Panther football games. Anissa is known as “Shiny” to her granddaughter and that is her most favorite title that she has held to date.
