Hickory – Patrick Beaver Memorial Library is offering one-on-one sessions for those interested in learning about free software for Windows on November 9, 1pm-4pm.
Topics will include an overview of software in various categories and techniques for finding specific types of free software. Time will also be provided to answer questions about free software and tips on how to avoid harmful software.
Appointments are limited so registration is required. Patrons may sign up for an appointment by calling 828-304-0500, Ext. 7235. Patrick Beaver Memorial Library is located at 375 3rd Street NE on the SALT Block.
