Hickory – Teens are invited to the Ridgeview Library on Tuesday, July 10 at 6pm to spend an evening with the Guerilla Poets for an awesome workshop. They will teach you how to use poetry, music, and art to express yourself in creative ways.

The Guerrilla Poets are a nonprofit group based out of Charlotte that provide art, music, and writing programs to various shelters, centers, schools, and more. They believe in empowering others through the arts and providing others with creative skill sets and outlets to gain better access to securing a brighter future.

Ridgeview Library is located at 706 1st Street SW, at the corner of 1st Street and 7th Avenue SW, beside the Ridgeview Recreation Center. All library programs are free and open to the public.
