Newton’s Annual Movies In The Park Series Returns June 22

Newton, NC – Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a free movie as the Newton Parks and Recreation Department kicks off the annual Movies in the Park series on June 22. The free movies begin at dusk at Southside Park, located at 1775 Southwest Blvd.

Popcorn is free thanks to the local businesses that sponsor the series. This year’s sponsors are HealthSmart Pharmacy, Law Offices of Leslie M. Yount, 2 Pink Magnolias, Tom’s David Beaver Vending, and Bassett Furniture.

Drink and snack concessions will be available.

Friday, June 22: The Jungle Book
Friday, June 29: Wonder
Friday, July 6: Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Friday, July 13: Cars 3
