Hickory – Kids and their dads had so much fun playing mini-golf at Patrick Beaver Library last year that mini-golf is returning this June, from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, June 23.

The FREE 9-hole mini-golf event is sponsored by The Friends of the Hickory Public Library. Along with golfing on the Putt-Putt course, kids can make and take home a craft. They can also enter a free raffle to win a book, and have a chance to win another book by guessing how many golf tees fill a jar. Free refreshments will be available. Event sponsor di’lishi frozen yogurt bar in Hickory has donated prizes.

The Friends of the Hickory Public Library will be selling children’s books for $1, and the Friends’ popular gift baskets will also be for sale.

This fun community day is intended to bring dads and their children, along with granddads and their grandkids, to the library to raise awareness about the library and its wonderful resources. And, of course, to have fun! All ages are welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult.
