Hickory – A benefit auction for local missionaries Dr. Randy Fulbright and his wife Lynne will be held this Saturday, July 30, from 1 to 9pm at 4421 Section House Road, Hickory, NC. The Fulbrights will open the event with Gospel music so come early, there’s plenty of parking and concessions will be open on site.

The newlywed couple are God-called to the Mission Field. Randy is an ordained missionary and holds two doctorates, in Divinity and Religious Education, as well as several Master Degrees. He has traveled to 13 foreign countries to preach the Gospel and to 22 states in the US. Mr. Fulbright plays 10 musical instruments and has been a musical mentor and teacher to many in the area for 40 plus years. Randy is also well known as a master guitarist, singer and songwriter. Dr. Fulbright has chartered churches and pastored at area churches. Currently, he is writing seven books, complete with Greek and Hebrew reference notes on specific teachings in the King James Bible. Mrs. Fulbright has a musical background as a vocalist of 35 plus years. The Fulbrights have recording experience and with God’s Grace and provision, hope to record Gospel music.

Fulbright MissionMrs. Fulbright’s background in public life was in sales and marketing and office management. Together, the Fulbrights have performed at area churches with spiritual songs and hymns.

The Fulbrights are selling all worldly possessions to serve the Lord. First, journeying to Africa to set up Christian Schools and Bible collages, then going where the Lord Ieads them preaching, teaching, singing and sharing the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

A partial list of items includes furniture, antiques, Wexford crystal service for 12, artwork, and a large collection of VHS. The music collection includes albums from 1930s -1990s, 78s, 45s, CDs, vintage jewelry and jewelry, vintage clothing, retired Beanie Baby collection, Bradford Exchange items, antique dolls, music equipment, assorted tools, camping equipment, grandmother clock, charger plates, dinnerware, collectible Christmas ornaments, Christmas collections, exercise equipment, crystal serving trays, faux fireplace, antique mirrors, variety of books, collection of Disney books, children’s books, electric heaters, five window air conditioning units, household items, one upright freezer, two refrigerators, small household appliances and much, much more.
