Hickory – Dog lovers and dog owners are invited to Ridgeview Library on Saturday, June 17, at 2:00 pm to How To Speak Dog, where participants will learn more about canine companions.
Do you know how to tell when a dog is feeling friendly or anxious, relaxed or threatened? Are you curious about what it takes to be a responsible pet owner? Do you know what to do if a dog is chasing you?
We’ll have volunteers here to answer questions about a variety of dog-related topics and to tell stories about true dog heroes. Registered therapy dogs will also be in attendance for participants to meet.
People ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Refreshments will be served. As a friendly reminder, no pets are allowed in city buildings so please leave your fur babies at home where they will be happiest.
Ridgeview Library is located at 706 1st Street SW, at the corner of 7th Avenue SW and 1st Street SW. For more info., please call the Ridgeview Library at 828-345-6037 or email Carole Dennis at firstname.lastname@example.org
