Hickory – The excitement for summer learning has expanded to include adults at Hickory Public Library from June 9 – August 25, 2018. The 2018 theme “Libraries Rock” encourages adults to experience the joy of learning and reading with musical influences. Reading relieves stress, strengthens the brain, and builds empathy. Learn new things or expand your knowledge of current interests this summer for free with library materials and library programs.

Adult summer readers have the opportunity to win prizes. Visit Patrick Beaver Memorial Library or Ridgeview Library and pick up a bingo form to complete. All participants will receive a small prize when you turn in your completed bingo form (while supplies last) and be entered in a drawing for several Grand Prizes. The Grand Prize drawing will take place during the week of August 27th.

Bingo forms for the Adult Summer Reading Program may be picked up at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library or Ridgeview Library beginning Saturday, June 9, 2018. Patrick Beaver Memorial Library is located at 375 3rd Street NE on the SALT Block and Ridgeview Library is located at 706 1st Street SW.
