Lenoir, NC – The Second Annual NC Gravity Games Reboot & Re-purpose Sculpture Competition will be held on April 13, 2019 in Downtown Lenoir, NC as a part of the NC Gravity Games & Feet Off the Street Fun Fest. Caldwell County students of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate in this competition. All materials will be provided by the City of Lenoir and The Scrap Exchange of Durham. Teams need only to bring themselves and a creative spirit the day of the event.

To Sign-Up in Advance: All team or individuals must be registered for the event no later than Friday, April 12 at 5:00pm. Registration is FREE to all but spaces are limited. Sign-In Day-Of: Please have all members of your team present to sign in by 10:15am on the day of the event. The event will take place near the intersection of Main Street and West Avenue in Downtown Lenoir. Teams not present by 10:45am may be dismissed from the competition.

The Event: Teams will be allowed to begin constructing their sculptures at 11:00am and continue working through 1:00pm. Participants do not have to use the entire 2 hour period. At 1:00pm all constructing will end and participants will have time to enjoy other parts of the festival while judging takes place. Winners of the competition will be announced from the Downtown Stage at the corner or Main Street and West Avenue during the official NC Gravity Games awards ceremony.

Prize Categories:
1st: Best Overall ($250 to team or individual)
2nd: Most Unique Use of Materials ($150 to team or individual)
3rd: Tallest Standing Sculpture ($100 to team or individual)
