Hickory – Representatives of the Hickory Music Factory will be at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library on Tuesday, July 24, at 6:30pm to host a music program called Rock to ROCK! This program talks about the history of instruments and where they originated. The “Rock” (aka caveman days) to “ROCK” (aka, Rock n Roll) program will show you how and why select instruments were influential in the formation of the Rock n Roll musical style.

The Hickory Music Factory was founded upon the desire to foster an environment of creativity in our community based on music. They participate in outreach projects, performances, educational programs, and community development initiatives. HMF wants to provide a musical experience for the individual and community that is void of all barriers.
